Iris & the Girls.

My very special girl
 Mia from Armoy

I met Mia when she was 10 days old and hand raised her. She is a great dog who is very loving and intelligent. I have never before had a dog who behaves more like a human being than like a dog. She knows every move i make and helps around the house. I even have to spell out some words that I don't want her to understand! She puts herself to sleep by sucking on the end of her pillow in my bed. If Mia hears a strange sound outside she draws back the curtain with her paw for a better view! She has been very ill a few times with Atopy that she suffers from but with constant care and attention she is now only lightly affected by it. I cook all her food with fresh ingredients every day and make sure she gets nothing but the best nourishment because she deserves nothing less...
Please be sure to get in touch with any comments or reactions you

Irish blessing

May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face
and rains fall softly on your fields.
And until we meet again;
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.

Please be a responsible pet owner and have your pets neutered or speyed,
wormed regularly and vaccinated. When choosing a puppy remember to pick a breed which is suitable to your home background and all the members of your family. A dog lives up to 18 years so think very carefully before you get one. Losing a home can be very stressful for dogs if even only after a few months or weeks. It upsets their pattern of life and makes them very confused and distressed..

Welcome to our little home on the web,

My  name is Mia.

I am very friendly with humans. My human mum hand fed me since i was very small, So i understand them very well. Sometimes i act more human than dog!
I like the good food my mum cooks for me, travelling in the family car and sleeping in mum's bed. I dont like nasty dogs or nasty humans that might hurt my family or friends.

A dog's prayer

Treat me kindly, my beloved master for no heart in the world is more grateful for kindness than the loving heart of me.
Do not break my spirit with a stick, for though I lick your hand between the blows, your patience and understanding will more quickly teach me the things you would have me do.
Speak to me often, for your voice is the world's sweetest music, as you must know by the fierce wagging of my tail when your
footstep falls upon my waiting ear.
When it is cold and wet, please take me inside, for I am now a domesticated animal, no longer used to bitter elements. And I ask no greater glory than the privilege of sitting at your feet beside the hearth. Though had you no home, I would rather follow you through ice and snow than rest upon the softest pillow in the warmest home in all the land, for you are my god, and I am your devoted worshiper.
Keep my pan filled with fresh water, for although I should not reproach you were it dry, I cannot tell you when I suffer thirst.
Feed me clean food, that I may well, to romp and play and do your bidding, to walk by your side, and stand ready, willing and able to protect you with my life should your life be in danger.
And, beloved master, should the Great Master see fit to deprive me of my health or sight, do not turn me away from you. Rather hold me gently in your arms as skilled hands grant me the merciful boon of eternal rest... and I will leave you knowing with the last breath I drew, my fate was ever safest in your hands.
Beth Harris.
